Yurrrgh!
2nd place in a karaoke contest. Again. (Tied for 2nd, actually) Made enough dough to cover my gas and got a few free drinks. Most of the crowd said I should have won. Per usual. I have a compelling urge to pull a "Rocky Marciano", as I like to call it. For the non-boxing-afficionados among my friends, Rocky Marciano was one of the greatest heavyweight boxers to ever grace the ring. He had four amateur fights. His amateur record: 0 wins and 4 losses. So he decided it was time to turn pro. His record as a professional: 49 wins. 0 losses, 43 KO's. The only champion to retire undefeated. I'm tired of piddly-ass popularity contests where hometowners can win regardless of vocal ability or stage presence. Or the hot chick wins. Dammit, I know I've got talent, I know how to play a crowd. I need to maybe get some voice lessons to improve my endurance and clarity, and jsut go for it. Singing's the only thing I seem to do right, most of the time. Why shouldn'tI give it a go?

I heard you on BJ Shae again a week ago or something. You were talking about strippers and female attention.
Is Rocky still playing at Blue Mouse? I had this idea of doing a little documentary short film about Rocky... and I figured if you were still doing it, maybe I could exploit you (and others). Would this offend? Let me know more details. :)

very cool
Yes, I'm still doing Rocky, with both the Tacoma and Seattle casts. And exploit me all you want, you know I have no shame. And as an added bonus, I think all the people who would drama in relation to you no longer attend either show. (My sorry self excluded.) ;) And thanks for the compliment on my realization about my singing. Glad I've got one friend who reads this!Led
